YouTube Storytime Video Premiere!

Tune in to our YouTube channel starting Friday, April 9, 2021, to listen and watch Miss Morgan read two stories with a Spring theme.

Today we'll be reading "Abracadabra! It's Spring!" written by Anne Sibley O'Brien and illustrated by Susan Gal, with permission from publisher Abrams Appleseed, and "First the Egg" written and illustrated by Laura Vaccaro Seeger, with permission from publisher Roaring Brook Press.

Because of publisher permissions, this video will be available on White Oak Library District YouTube channel until April 23, 2021.

"Abracadabra! It's Spring!" written by Anne Sibley O'Brien and illustrated by Susan Gal

Winter turns to spring in this lyrical book that celebrates the magic of nature and the changing seasons. Eleven gatefolds open to recreate the excitement and surprise of spring's arrival.

"First the Egg" written and illustrated by Laura Vaccaro Seeger

Using simple text and illustrations shows how animals and objects change, including tadpoles to frogs and seeds to flowers, in a book with cutouts so that certain colors from the previous picture help create the next picture.
