Rummage Sale - Giving Back to the Community

Romeoville Branch
Meeting Room A

Event Details

Rummage sales remain treasured rituals in many communities.  A rummage sales purpose is to sell miscellaneous secondhand items to help raise money for a charity or special event.  White Oak Library rummage sale will raise funds to help us give back within our own community.  All items will be donated by the community and resold at reasonable prices to the community.  All proceeds from the rummage sale will be donated back within the community (designated agencies).  Any items not sold will be donated to agencies that help the less-advantaged.

For a designated time (Month of February), we can accept all donated items (clothing, electronics, books, etc.) from anyone that wishes to donate them and then store them until the rummage sale event.  A few days before the rummage sale event takes place, we will take all donated items and reasonably price them.  A few days later, the rummage sale event will take place and all proceeds from the sale will be donated within the community.
