Join us for our an off site "Noir in a Bar" book discussion! This event will take place at Iron&Glass Taproom & Bottleshop, located at 632 S. Weber Rd in Romeoville, IL. 

Participants are invited to gather beginning at 6:30pm for a social half hour before our 7pm book discussion.

Drinks are optional if participants wish to make an Iron and Glass beer or wine purchase. Participants may BYOF and/or there are nearby eateries to order food from (ask staff for suggestions). Library staff will provide an appetizer. 

Our October read is "The Pale Blue Eye" by Louis Bayard. When a brutal murder occurs on the grounds of West Point, retired NYPD detective Gus Landor, now living in the Hudson Valley, is enlisted to solve the case, recruiting the assistance of an eccentric young cadet named Edgar Allan Poe to help him uncover the clues to the case and to find the culprit." Copies of this book will be available one month prior to the discussion and can be picked up at the Romeoville Branch Library's Adult Services Desk and will be due back one week after the book discussion date.

Registration is required. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
