Event Details

Join us at the Romeoville Branch Library on the second Tuesday evening of each month for a lively book discussion, beer/wine and other beverages and snacks.

This month's book is Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy.

Migrations takes place in an environmental dystopia, where researcher Franny Stone makes a voyage to Antarctica to observe the last migration of an endangered species. During this journey, Franny makes a number of important realizations about her dark past and her true motivations for making the trip. This novel is an deep and emotional look at topics such as conservation, grief, and our own personal nature.

This book will be available one month prior to the discussion and can be picked up at the Romeoville Branch Library's Adult Services Desk and will be due back one week after the book club date.

Registration is required. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
