Join us for the second in a series of our  "Artist Spotlight" programs that the library is hosting in partnership with Romeoville Art Society!

Bring a favorite pen (or we'll supply you with one) and enjoy working with local poet, Sharon Houk, as she workshops techniques in poetry. Participants will discuss a poem and complete several writing exercises. Writers of all kinds and levels are welcome to hone their craft by spending an evening with poetry.

Sharon Houk is a multidisciplinary artist and award-winning playwright. Her work has been seen in Coe Review, Rhino Fest, Irish American News, and the Billie Limacher Emerging Playwright’s Festival. Her much anticipated debut novel is entitled "Carrots Will Not Absolve You."
