Event Details

Celebrate the season of giving and join our folk music & fundraising event featuring troubadour, Mark Dvorak. Learn stories of the roots of American music and listen to Mark perform the music of American folk artists such as Lead Belly, Pete Seeger and Woody Guthrie.

The library is collaborating with Music & Potlucks, a local organization dedicated to nourishing the community with cultural events and supporting our neighbors. Alongside of this FREE music event is an optional "dessert potluck," and an optional fundraiser to support the mission of West Suburban Community Pantry

Please consider bringing the following donated goods to the music event, or drop off in advance in our designated lobby box beginning Monday, October 24th. The most needed items are New Toys & Books (ages 0-12), Boxed or Canned Food Items, and Baby Diapers and Wipes. Thank you for your generosity!

Also, please consider bringing an unopened store bought treat of your choice to share with fellow community members for the Potluck portion of the music event.
