We are kicking off the Summer Reading Challenge with an ice cream social, 3D printer demonstration (courtesy of Allos Technologies of Lockport), and a community art project that will be displayed in the library throughout the summer. Enjoy some ice cream and spend a few minutes putting together a simple paper collage of your home, which will be placed in a grand cityscape mural in our building. Then make sure you stop by the lobby for the ongoing 3D printer demonstration. Mayor Steve Streit will be on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 1:00 pm, but all other activities run from 1:00 to 7:00 pm.
