In Christmas in Chicago, the Windy City Road Warrior, historian David Clark, will talk about past and present holiday traditions and celebrations in Chicago. Highlights include the wonderful window displays in major department stores on State Street, dining under the huge Christmas Tree in the Walnut Room at Marshall Field, the origin of Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer, in a coloring book offered by Montgomery Ward, and caroling to the animals at Lincoln Park Zoo.
