Thinking about going solar? The Citizens Utility Board (CUB) is hosting a free solar information session where you'll learn everything you need to know about going solar. CUB is a nonprofit consumer watchdog fighting for lower utility bills and for consumer-friendly renewable energy policy. We'll discuss the basics of solar, new Illinois solar incentives, and solar's financial implications for your household. You'll learn why this year is the best time to take advantage of state and federal solar incentives. We will also discuss Solar for All, Illinois' new low-income solar program.

Additionally, residents throughout Cook, Kane, DuPage, and Will counties have an opportunity to participate in Solarize Chicagoland, a grassroots program combining volume purchasing with community, education to make solar more accessible and affordable. Solarize Chicagoland is a partnership between CUB, and Cook, DuPage, Kane & Will counties.
