Event Details

“Two roads diverged in a wood and I – I took the one less traveled by.” – Robert Frost

This September, take the road less traveled and explore nine literary landmarks on the Pinnacle Library Road Trip. Pick up your road trip passport at any Pinnacle library from September 1-30, 2019. Then stop at each of the nine member libraries to see a “Roadside Attraction,” get your passport stamped and receive a souvenir. Road trippers collecting stamps from all nine libraries can turn in their completed passports at any location by September 30 to receive a special “end of the road” prize! (Passports, souvenirs and completion prizes are available while supplies last.) Questions? Ask a librarian!

The Pinnacle Library Road Trip…Wish you were here! is brought to you by Pinnacle Library Cooperative, the amazing association of six member libraries (nine locations total) that share our collective resources to provide books, movies, music and more to patrons within our library districts and beyond. Partners include: Fountaindale Library, Joliet Public Library (Ottawa Street and Black Road), Lemont Public Library, Plainfield Public Library, Shorewood-Troy Public Library and the White Oak Library District (Crest Hill, Lockport, and Romeoville).
